Today, ISAAC VR officially became Business Partner of Daqi. This American company, with their European headquarters in Dublin, is manufacturer of high-end augmented reality glasses. Daqri's primary product is the portable 'Daqri Smart Helmet', a construction workers helmet with integrated Ar technology, such as a heat camera and the possibility to look-a-long with a mechanic or engineer whilst giving instructions.
Hence, Daqri's prime market is industry. ISAAC VR, with their head office based in Eindhoven, has grown to be a serious player in developing VR and AR applications. ISAAC VR has a strong focus on business solutions; so not in developing games, but in creating applications that allow organisations to accelerate their business by means of AR/VR. Besides developing for the 'Daqri Smart Helmet' ISAAC VR also develops applications for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Microsoft HoloLens but also smartphones. PON, Nooteboom Trailers, KLM Air France, Bosch Rexroth, Lapp Benelux and Stryker are all part of ISAAC VR's customer portfolio.
Later this year, Daqri will introduce 'Daqri Smart Glasses', in addition to their helmet with integrated glasses. These glasses are linked to a powerful mobile computer which can be connected to for example, your belt.
