Wheelers4Bram kicks Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy off the planet

Seven days, 700 kilometers on a mountain bike through Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Last week (9-15 September), ISAACus Jasper de Rooij and mountain bike team Wheelers4Bram made this exceptional journey. The team collected €26,000,- for the Duchenne Parent Project. This foundation ensures that the revenue of the Wheelers4Bram team and the proceeds of other mountain bike teams are fully invested in research into the treatment and cure of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Get on the mountain bike for a better life

"Children do not belong in electric wheelchairs, elevators and hoists. They are supposed to enjoy life to the fullest. It is a great challenge and enormously rewarding task to do this mountain bike tour for Bram and all children suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. After again a great trip, I will continue cycling to combat the muscle disease Duchenne", says ISAACus Jasper.

ISAAC partner of Wheelers4Bram

ISAAC is proud to support Wheelers4Bram in the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Bram, for whom the team is cycling, is also a personal acquaintance of ISAAC. In 2016 he did a job taster at ISAAC's design team in the context of his education in Design, Media and Technology at Sint Lucas College in Eindhoven. We hope, just like Bram and all children who suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, that research will lead to an improvement in their life quality.

"After a fantastic trip in 2017, I will continue to cycle to fight the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy."
